This Week's COVID-19 Updates

Cases, Deaths, and Hospitalizations

As of October, 24, 2020, there has been 879 confirmed new cases, which brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Quebec to 100,114. To add, there has been 11 new deaths, which brings the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Quebec to 6,143. Among the 11 new deaths, 5 have occurred on October 24, 5 have occurred between October 18 to October 23, and 1 has occurred at an unknown date. Furthermore, the number of hospitalizations has increased by 2, which brings the total number of hospitalizations to 551. Among these hospitalizations, the number of people in intensive care has increased by 4, bringing the total number of people in intensive care to 97.



Tests Performed

On October 23, there has been 25,378 tests performed. Therefore, the total number of COVID-19 tests in Quebec since the start of the pandemic is 2,966,329.
