First Aid Team

The Vanier First Aid Team (VFAT) was founded in 2017.

 

VFAT works in collaboration with the College nurse to promote public awareness campaigns on different medical issues, including sexually transmitted disease prevention, responsible drinking and nutrition. As well, members of the first aid team present at different public events taking place at Vanier College, including sporting events, in order to provide tailored First Aid assistance whenever it is needed.

In the context of the pandemic, VFAT's objective is to disseminate first aid techniques and the latest COVID-19 news to the Vanier College community via virtual means. Four committees have been established: Webinars, Newsletter, Social Media, and Blog Page Committee.
