Cuts, piercing, or any other types of wounds are great sources of infections and diseases. Such incidents can occur daily, but little do we know about the intensive dangers of those infections. Habitually, when a wound forms in the skin, the platelets that flow in our blood travels to the injured area and create a clot to enclose the opened wound and diminish the bleeding. Afterward, it releases the chemical cytokines, which will make the white blood cells from the immune system( neutrophils and macrophages) travel to the wound spot in the skin to kills any germs&bacterias. However, this can be quite perilous, cytokines can cause inflammation to the skin, also, if the cut or wound is not treated as fast as possible, a huge number of pathogens can access the body, the white blood cells might not be able to kill all of those germs. Therefore, the remaining pathogens might replicate into a bigger number. This can result in dangerous inflectional diseases such as Cold, Influenza, and tuberculosis.

Therefore, to prevent the risks of infections, the wounds resulting from cuts, falling, or piercing must be treated as soon as possible, to treat infections we must follow the following steps:
1)Wash the injured wound with clean water
1 )Place a piece of medical cotton immediately on the wound to inhibit the access of any germs into the body.
2) Dip another piece of cotton with a wound sterilizer and place it over the infected area, press on the cotton tightly and make sure it covers the whole area.
3) Apply antibiotics, whether in the form of cream or by calling your doctor to provide you with a prescription for antibiotics. The antibiotics will destroy most of the germs in the infected area.
5) Place a bandage over the wound and make sure to change the bandage every day.
6) During the interval and while your wound is being treated, eat food rich in protein as it is necessary for cell growth( to repair the damage) and food rich in Vitamin C since it provides the body with a huge amount of fibers.
7)Stay away from infectious places, always clean your hands and use sterilizers.

Treatments of infectious wounds are very necessary for our health, it protect us from serious diseases and provide us with a healthy clean body.
Great biological explanations!
