Cases and Statistics
As most of you already know, the second wave has hit Quebec. On September 21, 2020, Quebec's public health director, Horacio Arruda, stated that the province has entered the second wave. Since then, COVID-19 cases have continued to rise in Quebec. On Thursday, October 8, 2020, Quebec reported 1,078 new cases of COVID-19 and 10 more deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there has been 82,922 cases and 5,912 deaths. Presently, there are 425 people in the hospital. On October 11, 2020, there has been 29,387 COVID-19 tests performed.

COVID-19 Symptoms:
- Fever
- Coughing
- Loss of smell
- Gastrointestinal issues, such as nausea and diarrhea
- Fatigue
- Shortness of breath
- Muscle pain
- Sore throat
- Runny or stuffy nose
- Significant loss of appetite

Quebec Government Reminders for Preventing the Spread of COVID-19:
- Frequently wash your hands
- Avoid touching your face
- Wear a mask when needed
- Stay at least 2 meters away from people
- Self-isolate for at least 14 days after travelling
